FBM New listing & No sales

so far my listing has been active for about a week and a half. I’ve adjusted PPC. I’ve had 32 clicks. No sales. I suspect it’s because I have no reviews. I can’t enroll into the vine program due to not being FBA. But how can I get those first sales and first reviews to really help me take off? (I am brand registered. The product is niche and completely unique) is there a way I can push for those first few sales? I guess I just don’t know the general timeline in sales. If you are a seller. What is the timeline in between you getting your first to 10th sale? (FBM please)

It's impossible to provide a "normal" timeline; it varies too much by product.

But if you post your ASIN, people may be able to look and see if there is anything about the listing that might be not working to your advantage.

Hopefully you already have a Trademark or you will face competition by every thief on the planet.

Did you do ANY research to see if there is even demand for your product BEFORE you jumped in the river here?

Did you test sell on other (less expensive) sites to see if there is any demand at all for the product?

Did you do any sales to see what type of price elasticity there might be at different price points or packaging options?

Did you study to see how much competition there is for your product line?

A couple years ago a seller came here with a very similar story. After many people asked they finally said they were selling cell phone cases.

Not only were there over 10,000 OTHER SELLERS of the same type product but they were competing against the very factories they were buying from.

On the bright side, at least you didn’t get convinced by some YouTube or TikTok ‘expert’ to start selling using FBA.

A week and a half in is still really early, so don't be discouraged just yet. For a niche, unique product with FBM, it's not unusual for those first sales to take a few weeks to build momentum — especially without reviews. The good news is you're already brand registered, which opens up some great tools.

Since you mentioned you can't do Vine as an FBM seller, here's what I'd focus on: make sure your listing is fully optimized — strong A+ Content, great images, and keyword-rich copy can help close the gap that reviews would normally fill. Since your product is unique to the marketplace, listing optimization and Sponsored Products for discoverability are going to be your best friends right now.

Once you do get those first sales, use the "Request a Review" button on each order details page between 5-30 days after delivery — it's the easiest way to start collecting reviews organically.

Hang in there — those first sales are coming! 🙂
